It Takes Time To Heal
Ted Hibbard
It takes time to heal.
Build a bridge
from now to tomorrow.
Sink the piers
deep into the Earth.
Pour in concrete
day by day,
a little at a time,
and let it set.
It takes time to heal.
It may feel very awkward,
as if you’re making empty promises,
as if you’re simply spanning empty space.
But someday, somehow, somewhere,
you’ll find yourself
upon a brand new shore,
glancing back at the bridge
which you alone have built.
It takes time to heal.
Consider this: What do you need time to heal from?
Nigel, please let your precious wife know, whom I dearly love and will miss, that My family and I, we have moved back to Va. We will be settling in the Richmond area. I will still work at the Dillard’s there at the Clinique counter. The Mall is , “the Short Pump” in the Towne Center .Tell her, I meant to call her ahead of time, but was going through so much at the time. She is really a very sweet, classy, and smart woman! I really do miss her so much…..tell her I can always ship free if she need anything. I am still keeping my cell # if she wants to call me…336-671-2984. You all be blessed. And I love you all.
